I'd got a walk with the Ramblers lined up because S had to work today, and what a fabulous walk it was.  The forecast was for cold and grey, but it was mostly sunny and t-shirts... that should be sweaty t-shirts because of the speed we were walking and the amount of ascent.

This photo was taken at the side of the road on the way to the start point as I came through 'the gap' between Mam Tor and Rushup Edge and saw the expanse of Kinder in front of me.

At some point in the walk I suddenly realised that we were climbing up the 'staircase' that my husband had driven the Land Rover down in 2002 (although it wouldn't be allowed now) and that I could look back at the stone wall in the extra photo.

Yesterday has been blipped... as well as lived lol!
