Wedge tailed eagle

This may not be the best ever bird shot but I haven't seen these before in the wild so here is my big attempt....There was a mother /father in a dead tree with a large offspring. My work colleague Helen turned the car around ( from a rapid stop) so I could take a picture. At that time the birds took off and I had to quickly sort out the camera and try for a shot. I have a couple of them together but with severe cropping they were even more blurry.

I also took some great shots at the pub but the birds were something different...the pub will wait.
