The Same But A Little Bit Different

They said rain and by late this afternoon we got it.........and we're still getting it.  Not as bad as further north, I understand, and in the light of the bombings in Brussels, a totally insignificant and meaningless event.

Mum used to struggle with the evils in the world, the atrocities and the hardships, so much so that she could no longer watch the news without becoming very anxious and upset.  I'm pleased she hasn't had to witness this latest event.  My thoughts and love go to the families and friends of the innocent victims.  Words feel so inadequate.
