Everyday I Write The Book

She's got the whole world in Her hands,

She's got my brothers and my sisters in Her hands,
She's got the sun and the rain in Her hands,
She's got the moon and the stars in Her hands,
She's got the wind and the clouds in Her hands,
She's got the whole world in Her hands.
She's got the rivers and the mountains in Her hands,
She's got the oceans and the seas in Her hands,
She's got you and She's got me in Her hands,
She's got the whole world in Her hands.
She's got everybody here in Her hands,
She's got everybody there in Her hands,
She's got everybody everywhere in Her hands,
She's got the whole world in Her hands.

Thanks for the blip inspiration, blipfoto - your challenge Our Digital Planet struck a chord with me straight away 'cos The Soul mate is always browsing the web from her iPhone. Take this pic of The YogaMama which I put up on Facebook yesterday and which got cross posted and loved all over the world from Australia to Berlin and London to Scotland in less than 24 hours. It's only a few years ago since telephone calls to the other side of the world were monitored with stopwatches and Skype calls were the stuff of science fiction movies. I think the other thing about this blip is it shows the wonderful paradox of the web ... you really can hold the whole world in your hands, now the devices we use to access the internet are so small.

You hear a lot about porn and violence and racism but we certainly know how to share the happy stuff on the web in my circle of friends and family ...

Had a big car day today - drove from Woking to Newbury, Newbury to Kingston, and Kingston back to Woking. Big scary meetings too. Then had to rush The Dizzle into town for some replacement glasses before settling down to catch up with work ... another thing made possible by the internet ... dammit ...

PS - anyone out there remember the Steve Buscemi movie this song figured in? Him singing it with a little girl. Very funny ...
