Student accommodation

Everywhere you look on our area they are putting up large blocks of student accommodation. There are 2 huge developments within half a mile of the surgery. Someone is making money on this but I have some issues. Firstly I've no idea why we need all this extra capacity for students. Secondly we desperately need affordable social housing in the area not more student flats. Lastly if all the students come and register with us we will struggle to cope.
