Sea Holly - Eryngium "Miss Willmott's Ghost" - extremely spiky even when out of focus, though that's not the source of pain - that source is my not getting a block in place fast enough during karate sparring tonight.

The jaw's a bit delicate... though E's just supplied some medicinal red wine. Ta.

Actually, a former colleague used to do something like that - returning after a longer absence he'd announce that his hard drive had crashed and if anyone had emailed anything important recently, please could they send it again...

S is having a 24+hr LAN battlefest in the signal box. 'Age of Empires' I believe. There's more computing power (or indeed testosterone) in there than I care to imagine.

Miss Willmott's Ghost is so named for said Miss Willmott's habit of scattering the seed in other people's gardens. It's biennial, so it lurks for a year then pops up where you didn't expect it; seeds freely then lurks for another year...
