Good Friday

At least as far as the weather is concerned it was a good Friday, wall to wall sunshine most of the day.  We walked in for coffee, Costa as Nero was busy, then bus back for lunch which we had in the garden.  Ann pottered around with the garden for a while after lunch then we walked into Shottery to visit Anne Hattaways Cottage.  The spring flowers were not quite out yet though there were lots of daffodils and many tulips waiting to flower.  The tree garden was awash with daffs,  it's so tranquil there, most of the visitors staying near the cottage, and kids entertainment tent.  Hopefully the new housing estate will not impact too much. 

Although I took photos in Shottery I decided one I took earlier would be my 'arty' blip.  Think of it as Feather Friday.
