Good Friday!

What a good Friday it was too!  14 degrees and sunny, so we went for a walk and ended up doing nearly 7 miles!  We started at Friston Forest, then walked through Lullington Heath Nature Reserve, stopped at Littlington Tea Gardens for lunch and then walked back by the River  Cuckmere. We got stuck at the end though as we had to cross this marshland which was rather tricky, but we made it in the end.

It's been a really lovely day and we saw some interesting birds, and on checking the RSPB website, they're Little Egrets (see the extras) - I was quite excited to see them for the first time. 

Oh, but Alan got stung by a bee!  It flew up his jeans!  I think it's dead now......
