A SURPRISE....

.... greeted me as I went down to check out what was on offer at the mighty Nepean River late afternoon.

Spotted this Dollar Bird sitting on the branch of a dead tree (see extra #1) however as I got out of the car a white "flash" was cruising along the river going home up in the Nepean Gorge. 

A white chested sea eagle, which we originally found just on twelve months back on  blip meet with Rower2012 and Palladian and Hobbs. What a day that was!

Anyway, grabbed the camera and got a couple of quick shots (extra #2 & 3).


But, liked this colourful dollar bird as it took off in search of dinner.
