Whaddayamean I have a funny nose?

This long nosed beetle (Curculionidae family) visited us at breakfast and reluctantly decided to pose for us. Luckily for him, he flew off just as I was debating whether the potential menace to our trees would justify disrupting the cycle of nature and bumping him off. He's best seen large.
 
Chauffering services to the golf club, over our ridiculously bad road, took up some of the morning, then while HH dug divots in the golf course, I dug some weeds out of the garden. I even had a rest this afternoon, and did a bit more weeding and planting after that. Now I have half and eye on an episode of Downton that we’ve seen before.
