survived the choppy crossing (actually wasnt too bad) and now recuperating with a couple of days at San Sebastian. Watched some surfers and kayakers in the bay this evening. Surprised at how large the waves were in the rather sheltered bay.

The extra photo shows my attempt at taking something 'contre -jour' .  I may try again with a telephoto lens if they're there today.
