The life & times of Jacks

Wild and Wet

Saturday weather was pretty awful.  It looked like it may turn out ok but slowly got really wet and windy.
We decided to head up to tring to visit the Natural history museum there which is linked to the London Natural History Museum.  It was really interesting and there were a LOAD of animal exhibits and some interesting (gruesome) videos of how taxidermy works.  I found it a bit horrible but I think the kids and family enjoyed it.  The building and history of Rothschild was quite interesting.

The next stop was in Great Missenden where we visited the Roald Dahl museum and story centre - the kids loved it.

We then headed back home and my parents and I stopped in to say hello at my neighbours house.  We have fantastic neighbours - always great to have fab neighbours.

Stewart and Jo stayed in the house and got the kids all fed and ready for bed before making us a fabulous duck salad - totally delish.

Last thing at night we had to run around hiding some chocolate eggs so the kids could go on the easter egg hunt.
