A bit of a walk ........

Well actually, two.

We went to Bruar.  It was packed with Easter tourists, enjoying the shopping and the coffee.  But we were there for another purpose.  Behind the centre there is a lovely path up the river, and we walked up, first of all to the lower bridge, and then to the upper bridge.   We crossed at the upper bridge and came down the other side to the lower bridge.  There were some like minded people walking and it was very pleasant.

We had some lunch at Blair Atholl at the old mill, which is a lovely place, and still a working mill.  We had sandwiches made with their own bread.

Then we crossed over to the Duke of Atholl's estate at Blair Castle and had a walk in the grounds, up to Diana's Grove (to whom it may concern her statue could do with a bit of TLC) and on to St. Bride's Kirk ruins, where some of the past Dukes were buried.

It was lovely to be out in the sunshine, and the four of us enjoyed it very much.

Then back to the hotel and a wee rest before dinner.  And dancing again this evening, just fabulous.  Some of the other guests in the hotel showed an interest and we invited them along, so we had about seventy people there, not all dancing but all enjoying it.

Decided a collage was the best thing to do today.
