...one of the highlights of my week: my trombone lesson.  Tonight I have been playing 'Cold Duck Time' with improvisation for my teacher in preparation for sitting in with his jazz combo at the end of the month.  We both think I'm more than ready and that I should bite the bullet and make my first public performance.  I hope we're right!
