I was fooled into thinking that Bailey barked to wake us up this morning but when I went up to him, he was still curled up in his crate not remotely bothered about anything. He has stayed pretty chilled all day, even when he had to stand outside of countless shops in Padstow (a very successful trip as evidenced by the extra of our combined shopping haul.) Whilst we were in one shop, the official Bailey sitter was very reliably informed that the white ring around Bailey's tail was a sign of good breeding in a border terrier. We are taking that as gospel!

As on every other of my previous trips to Padstow, we got very wet in the way back to the van but were warm and dry to eat our pasties. My non-traditional sweet potato and feta one had a distinct reminder of teas gone by...

Then back to the bay for the afternoon. The other three ran and then two surfed and we beach walked. Bailey was released twice and didn't head off after other dogs. Although he did take his time getting close enough to one of us the second time around.

And this evening we have been down to Fistral for pizza and cider. Another lovely day done and still just Tuesday.
