Pink Lavender in the Rain ...

... or maybe it's Lavender Pink.  It rained pretty much all day; this was an encounter walking to our local Carrefour Market, up the Passage Foubert. It's amazing that Wikipedia has an article on this tiny street--though it's very brief (with a broader image of my view), not even mentioning that Mousieur Foubert was once a local property owner (ancien proprietaire du terrrain, as it says on the street sign). Many Paris street signs identify their namesake; my favorite is the Rue Charlemagne (724-814: King of the Franks -- Emperor of the West).

Note the bike lane indicator--against car traffic (though vehicles of any sort rarely pass).
