Marjorie's ramblings

A new fascinator?

Today was the "team building" outing for all the volunteers who make the Haltwhistle Walking Festivals and the Challenge such a success every time. We took 44 people to Howick Hall Gardens on the Northumberland coast. I can highly recommend them - the Bog Garden and the Private Gardens were stunning.

Like many of the group, I walked through the woods to the coast. I had just settled down for some peaceful, solitary photography when a crowd of my friends arrived. Peace shattered but great company. V found this little shell with a bit of seaweed rooted into it. We wondered if it was a tiny piece of modern art or a fascinator for a doll.

It was a lovely relaxing day out.
