Who's that looking at me?

Pinch punch first of the month and all that ......read an Article in one of the daily papers that caught my eye, about the England football team not being able to take part in the Euro competition if we Brexit.....as we won't be part of the European Union, the article written by Jurgen Loos :-0

Well the weathermen got it wrong again.......we had planned to spend the sunny morning in the garden before going to see middle son, DiL and their girls later on.........

Woke up to cloud, walked into town for some bits we needed. Called in Reds for a coffee, by which time, it had started raining :-/. Luckily had my tiny brolly in my handbag!

Got home, I quickly fried the minced steak I'd just bought, with diced onions, celery, carrot, bay leaves, tomatoe purée, mushroom ketchup, red wine, garlic, basil, salt and pepper then added a rich beef stock, a jar of tomato passatta and put it in the oven for a couple of hours to cook down. Made a soft cheese bechamel sauce, then assembled a lasagne, covered with grated cheddar and Parmesan cheese, which we then took with us to sons for dinner tonight.

By the time we got on the road it was 3.45....the traffic was already heavy on the M6.......the journey took us twice as long as it should have, got to sons house at 5.15!!!!
Olivia was very pleased to see us, Grandad and Anma, she called out as we let ourselves in :-)

DiL arrived a few minutes later with Isabella, Olivia announced them too, It's baby she shouted, so pleased to see her little sister :-)

After dinner we played with the girls, I,took a few shots, most of,which were either blurred or the girls were blinking, but, I did,love this shot is Isabella discovering herself in the little mirror....she was so funny looking and talking to her own reflection ;-)

Olivia got very tired and had 'a moment' so daddy decided it was time for bed.......we had a cup of tea , whilst Isabella was still happily playing, before leaving for home around 8.15, motorway was clear as bell, back home by 9.10 :-)

Just watched the last episode of Lucky Man, a series we've been watching, bit disappointing :-/ now for The line of Duty...hopefully it's better!!
