Peekaboo

Two small deer were grazing in the grass near the path where I was walking. This fellow looked up to check me out as I approached with my camera. Then, with his "twin", he ran across the grass and into the woods. I am not sure if this is a young male or female. I don't see any "antler buds", but then this is a really young deer. The two of them can be seen regularly in this same spot. One walker with his dog told me he has even seen them bedded down right where I took this picture. We're not sure where the mother might be.
