Under Sail

A beautiful start with mostly sunshine all day, the wind picking up at lunchtime.

We decided to go for a walk this morning, and had intended to go to the Nature Park again, this time with a fully charged battery.   However, we went instead in the other direction on the beach to Playa San Miguel on the way to Guardias Viejas (our next small Hamlet).

As we set out there were few people about so we had the place more or less to ourselves.   However, on the return leg there were people setting up on the beach, families on bicycle enjoying the good Saturday morning weather.

I took quite a few photos but liked this Yacht taken through the sand dunes.

This afternoon I have made a start on recovering the blind for the bathroom, unfortunately I ran out of white thread!   Can you believe that!!   It will have to wait until I get some more and I won't have time now until Tuesday.

I am making Roast Pork dinner tonight as we are going to a BBQ tomorrow.   It is in Berja which is inland several kms.   Ex Yachties are going, and their 'thing' for BBQs is you take your own food and drink!!   Probably goes back to them being on the yachts and not being able to cater for lots of guests.

I am sure it will be OK, hopefully won't have to wait too long to use the BBQ!   Apparently it is going to be very windy in Almerimar tomorrow but not so in Berja.
