Sunset

Most of the day we spent in the water. In the morning we went body boarding at Boca Grandi, which has great 2m or more waves rolling in and a sandy beach floor so you don't get knocked about on the rocks. In the afternoon we explored the bay in front of our holiday let. We spotted some more tropical fauna under an abandoned jetty. The area we are staying used to be the gated community of the San Nicholas refinery, where the higher echelons used to live. Now the refinery has closed and the area is a bit run abandoned... It makes for a very relaxing and quiet holiday spot, but you can only imagine the impact the closure of the refinery had on the local community...
