The Beets of my Heart

Having woken up with a horrid winter cold again it was time for me to make a pan of beetroot soup or Barczsz to help warm me through and fifth off the cold. As I peeled away the outer skin I thought the patterns in the beets were quite spectacular. Soup was good and hopefully just the tonic I needed to help me fight it off!
