Today we did some more exploring, this old shed we found in Ahaura after we spent some time at the Brunner Coal Mine. It is quite sobering to see the number of memorials dedicated to Miners who have been killed in Mine disasters and accidents, highlighting just how dangerous this work is.We have had lots of rain again today but the weather gods have looked upon us and overtime we got out to take photo's the rain eased or stopped except at the Stillwater Cemetery where the Mass grave of the 1896 Brunner Miners Killed in a mine explosion. We visited Waiuta a Gold mine Ghost town. My extra is taken 100 m from the door to our cabin
