First Violet Spring 2016

Noticed my first Violet of 2016 yesterday and decided it would be my blip for today. It nearly missed that privilege, because it's been raining all day  -  even the sturdy daffodils are drooping under the weight of raindrops!  I managed a blip in between showers. It wasn't easy, and I was thankful my camera has a swivelling Monitor.  That meant I didn't have to lay my head on the ground to get a good focussed shot lol!  I had to put a towel on the ground to lay my camera on and then kneel down to get a good focus and view in the Monitor.  Result:  a crick in the neck but, I hope, a reasonable rain-drenched Violet blip.  Have a nice Sunday:)
