Pasqueflower

This pretty little flower with the very fine, silky hairs is growing in the garden here in Elie. I have only discovered recently that the flower belongs to the buttercup family.

The morning started off very dull and wet but in true Elie style bad weather rarely lasts all day ...... the grey clouds have vanished and the sun is now shining.
