A Most Unusual Egg Hunt

A thunder and lightning storm in the morning left puddles and muddy ground behind it. The Easter egg hunt seemed doomed. Yet thanks to my indomitable cousin, Marjorie, and some playful and imaginative adults, the hunt took place. The eggs were hidden underneath Marjorie's house, which was rebuilt on pilings after hurricane, Katrina. Much laughter ensued as eggs were hidden on the car, the boat, in the coils of a hose; among tools, on ledges, and in every possible hidey hole. Then the children were released.  More laughter... And possibly more fun than any other hunt engaged in over the years. For adults and children...

Taking photographs was a challenge, due to obstacles and the children spreading out on either side of the house. So I focused on Julia and Bryce. This was after the hunt when eggs were counted and moved from baskets to cartons.

Trying again with extras...
