Lake Vyrnwy

Today the Birdwatching Group went to Lake Vyrnwy for a morning visit. We left Oswestry in torrential rain which alternated between sleet, hail and sun on the way there and during our visit.

The blip is of the dam which flooded the valley to make a reservoir to provide the water for Liverpool. More information here.

We saw a lot of birds including this very bedraggled male redpoll which is the extra photo.
