"Coo, come and look -Jack's nesting in our spot!!"

Jackdaws nest in the trees around the village castle and at present are busy carrying sticks to add to last year's structures. A new nest has appeared in one of the arrow slits of the castle's gatehouse wall. Some of the doves usually nest and roost in there so it looks as though there's been an eviction!
