Springtime walking

I went for a lovely , gentle 2 mile walk around Stopham today with my orchid hunter friends Linda and Josie and Linda's 2 dogs. we were so lucky with the weather, as the awful rain managed to hold off and we even had some lovely sunshine. As ever the South Downs were utterly beautiful, displaying a tapestry of rich beautiful earthy browns and vibrant greens sewn together with the golden thread of the yellow wild daffodils ( it made me quite poetic!).
Today's shot is of the walk uphill to one of the gates, Linda's dog (I think it is Molly) racing back to us!
I have added a shot of Opposite-leaved Golden-saxifrage in my extras as it is rather beautiful!
