Climber's Gate.

Anyone who loves mountains will probably recognize the item on which this gate is modelled. Even if they have never done any rock climbing.

The gate is in memory of a much loved climber.

It leads into Trowbarrow local nature reserve. This is a very large old quarry near Silverdale. It is a popular rock climbing venue.
