One day, when J was trying to make this strip of land look a bit more presentable, a whole group of neighbourhood boys joined in to help him. They took over and totally gave themselves to the project so we decided to lend them the land, let them plant it, look after it and take the veggies. They have taken the challenge on with gusto. It's been great to see a group of boys who other neighbours can be quite negative about, working hard and doing something useful with all their free time.
