Floods - central Scotland

The torrential rain during the last twenty-four hours has caused the Allanwater river to break its banks once again and this tree got wedged downstream of the bridge in Bridge-of-Allan.

Despite the rain, and what passes for rush hour in Scotland, many people including myself are fascinated by the water and lots of us were out there taking photographs

The allotments and playing fields are flooded too .
