From the point

Because of the reading needed for next week's two day meeting, we had sort of decided to stay in Auckland. That decision was confirmed last night with daughter C needing help to get to and from the emergency dentist.

However, late this afternoon we did decide to travel north so S could visit her mother. In one of my few forays outside today, I took the camera and went to the point at the cliff edge. A long distance shot of a shag on a rock was obtained, and then was supplanted when I turned around and saw the house in the late afternoon light.
