Flower Sunshine

On a cold and rainy day I joined two friends for lunch at The Old Post Office in Wargrave. This is fast becoming a favourite spot for me - it was my third visit in a month!  My friends each had sandwiches - HUGE sandwiches. And I had the SMALL breakfast, which as you can guess was rather inaccurately named.

It's a cosy place - we enjoyed the quiet 'lounge' right at the back. But I rather liked this view as well at the front. The cheerful daffodils provided some welcome 'sunshine' on such a dark wet day.

The sun came out for my walk back to the car but I could see an almost black sky behind me. Within 10 minutes we had a brief hail storm. Welcome to Spring!!
