Kew Gardens: swan and cygnet in the rain

I've just back blipped yesterday's NHM photo .

I went to Kew Gardens this afternoon which was lovely, despite the drizzle and the rain.
I finally saw my first cygnets of the year: there was a swan with 6 cygnets which are still all grey-brown and downy, but are very large, and will no doubt soon become feathery.
It was raining when I took this picture, and I was rather enjoying the ripples where the raindrops fell, and the little columnar splashes which some of them caused (easier to see on large).
Oh, and the prominent foreground greenery is, "helpfully", indicating which of the two birds is the cygnet, just in case you were wondering...
