Sabbatical

Today was the date of the Annual Church Meeting. A time to reflect and move forwards. A bit like we have all been doing with Blip.

On the sabbatical

The vicar's going on sabbatical
A lucky man is he
To have this opportunity
To recharge and rest and be,

He's only got three months poor man
To do just what he can
To come back to us full of good news
And hope to fill the pews,

When summer is here In 3 months' time
The vicar will be back
I wonder what will be in store
I wonder can we do much more?

The energy comes from God knows where
And emerges through our love.
