Stone Brewing

A nice relaxing day after the long drive yesterday. A leisurely morning where I helped Chris install a new blind in the kitchen. Now all that remains for him to do is buy and fit the rest. We then took the dogs out for a walk around San Marcos dodging the rain as it drifted across the city.

Went out to Stone Brewing in Escondido in the evening for a jolly good dinner and some excellent beers. These craft breweries with a restaurant are increasingly popular and provide lots of different real beers to sample.

There were dozens of Stone Ales to choose from, many of them Pale Ales or IPAs so it was a good to be able to select a flight of beers to try a range of beers. I'm trying to remember the 4 I tried; a red IPA, a beer called Ruination, one an Americano Stout and a minty Chocolate stout. Of those the Ruination called for a second glass.

We all had 4 samplers so there were 16 glasses of ale on the table, many of them you can see on this shot of Chris and De'Shaun.
