Emergency Blip!

On Saturday, I went into the Apple Mac store in Cambridge, to see if they had any suggestions regarding my Mac problem.  We discussed the problem and it became apparent that they were by no means sure how easily they could solve it, but suggested that I went into their shop in the middle of this week and one of their specialists tried to sort the problem out, if they could.  So I made an appointment for Wednesday morning.  Last night I did not sleep well and during some of my waking moments I thought about my computer problem, finding several possible solutions.  Today I tried these out, one after another, the first three did not work, but much to my delight the fourth approach managed to rewrite my original wiped hard drive from the copy.  I have since deleted the copy and am currently in the process of reformatting it to its full capacity and then copying the system onto it from my original.  It looks as though this is progressing well and may well work, if it does I shall cancel my appointment with the Mac shop.  As a result of all this I have to some extent neglected my blips, however on one occasion going into the kitchen, to get yet more coffee (I cannot work without gallons of coffee), I saw this Robin sitting in our bush and managed to get his portrait, so here it is.
