Should't Complain

I'm warm and dry - which is a lot more than you can say about the view through the window. It has been a dismal day, weatherwise.

I set about cleaning and oiling one of my sewing machines, an oldie but a goodie.  When I tested it, it would only go in one direction - backwards.  It was definitely not for turning!

I took a wander outside to clear my brain, but it was so wet I retreated to the greenhouse and took pictures from there.

My first attempt to upload this disappeared into the ether. If this succeeds I'm going to stay on the sofa for the rest of the evening, and hopefully things will be brighter tomorrow.
