Hibiscus

Wet!  A day for either staying in or going somewhere that would keep you dry while there.  As we needed a couple of things we headed for Carlisle.  We are never in the Carlisle area with out visiting a garden centre.

After Kanyl had blipped a couple of large Terrapins in the pond at Houghton the day after I blipped the swan's nest it had to be the Houghton garden centre.  We sat in the car in the rain over looking the pond.  The Swan never took her head out from under her wing (I don't blame her) and there were certainly no Terrapins energetic enough to have come out.  The only entertainment was the Coot which would swim to the other side of the side of the pond gather some nest material then fly/walk on water back across.

We then went in round the centre where I got this shot of a Hibiscus just after the rather nice cream tea!
