Greystoke Castle.

A busy and damp day.  I wanted to do some work in the Greenhouse but there is a Robin sitting eggs in there so I can't disturb her!  I did manage a little potting on away from the Greenhouse.

Towards the end of the day the weather improved and so we decided to go for a walk.  On our way we passed an a view of the "Castle" which isn't seen very often.  It isn't seen because there is usually a 7 or 8 foot wall in the way.  However Desmond managed to bring down a convenient roadside stretch.

As we walked we came across all sorts of reminders of just how much water had been around that night in December, walls down, detritus high in bushes by the stream etc.
