Boston Spa Bridge

We went for a longish walk today - one which we have never done before. We walked from Boston Spa along the banks of the Wharfe to the disused railway viaduct at Newton Kyme. A round trip of about 4.5 miles.

It was a lovely morning - a very light cloud cover with sunny spells and the cold wind of recent days had gone.

I saw a couple of herons - and heard a couple of woodpeckers.

The blip shot is the bridge over the Wharfe - Boston Spa is on the left and Thorp Arch Village over on the right. It is a three shot HDR - I quite liked the pale sunlight on the stone.
