Celebration

A friend today celebrated her eightieth birthday by inviting her friends to afternoon tea in a country hotel. The building was an elegant Arts and Crafts house with leaded windows that look out over sweeping lawns with clumps of daffodils.
This was a WI friend, so lots of familiar faces. Normous came too and as he has known many of them for a long time he didn't feel out of it.
Afterwards we went back with Justenjoy (former blipper) and her husband and while Normous had a swim in their pool I enjoyed photos from their recent cruise.
