Yellow Begonia

God, when you chiseled a raindrop,
How did you think of a stem,
Bearing a lovely satin leaf
To hold the tiny gem?

~ Angela Morgan

My mother and I had a lunch date planned for this afternoon but before we headed out to Ruby Tuesday, we decided to swing by one of her favorite local greenhouses to check out this year's selection of Spring flowers.
Turns out, the shop had a great variety of beautiful flowers and plants, including a few that I was not familiar with...which was awesome, since I am pretty much always on the lookout for new and unusual types.
My choice for the day was a hanging basket chock full of pretty pastel yellow begonias. It was just too sunny and bright to pass up. :)
