Toothache Agony - in the Lord Mayor's Chapel

This is one of a few 13th century corbels found in the rubble of a wall built to make the choir vestry in the Lord Mayor's Chapel. They were used to support the ceiling and most of the rear end was within the wall behind - if you see what I mean!

If you are in Bristol this chapel is a must on your itinerary of sites to see. There are blips enough there to last a year...
