Cromer Pier

I very rarely travel to the East of the country, especially Norfolk as it is such a long way away. Stayed for two nights in Cromer and got a sea view as I love the sea. Went out for chips after the 5 hour drive and a drink in Cromer pier. The bar was packed because 'Money for Nothing' Europe's biggest and best Dire Straight tribute act were having an interval break. Struggled to get served at the veranda then suddenly it emptied do ended up sitting in a vast empty space with Norfolk's answer to Jim Bowen who works there. Fascinating to see the staff relax as lots of people went back to the theatre for the second half. Mosied around a penny arcade and then went to the 'White Horse' which had a darts tournament in full swing. Very friendly place but you could cut the competition atmosphere with a knife.

The B and B was freezing cold cos of the weather so the window had to be shut part way through the night.

Am in Norfolk because my good friend from Uni is getting married.
