His & Her

My wife has once again been busy with her various art projects - gourds, hangings, etc. Today was delivery day to the shop that sells on her behalf, but she wanted shots before they were gone. These two were once a single gourd, now turned into his and her masks for hanging on a wall.

I have been shooting a great deal lately with my two small point and shoot cameras and had forgotten the joys of working with my big Canon. The large, bright viewfinder, the accessible, intuitive controls, and even the heft (especially when outfitted with with my 70-200mm) were a welcome change. Of course, the image quality from the full frame sensor is far superior as well, which is to be expected.
