TWO DONKEYS

in a field near Gottsbüren.
The day started with an all blue sky, a very pretty sight, the clouds had been waiting round the corner and they came big! The wind blew, but nevertheless a wonderful day for our walk.
We drove to Gottsbüren and choose a path along the Holzape, a little brook that flows into the Diemel in Wülmersen.
In a field we saw one horse and two donkeys, they seemed happy to have company for a while. In Germany is is forbidden to have only one donkey, or goat, the animals would otherwise too lonely.
Our surroundings were wonderfully green, the meadows along the stream, the trees with new green leaves developping fastly.
For our way back we choose a path higher up the hill, almost in the forest.
Where we rested for a while I noticed a little insect that I show in my extra. It had an amazing blue colour, in the clear sunlight that is.

My haiku:

Sensitivity
I felt the otherdirectness
Of the two donkeys

And the proverb:

Put up your pipes.

(= desist; 'shut up')
