What a beautiful day! Warm, sunny, full of the joys of Spring. I had a moment of unusual domestic goddessness and made some nettle soup. I had read somewhere that you just need two helpings of nettles a year and it sorts out your blood wonderfully. It was delicious anyway. I also made banana and cardamon cake which was a bit worthy - it needed some sultanas in it I reckon.
More clearing of the ivy and wrestling with brambles. And stones can rise through the earth - there is even a name for it - Gitama reckons it podsolic! It seems to be when you have a damp humusy soil with bits of rock in. Anyway something scientific going on but the rocks are large and still in the polytunnel.
Last arthouse of the season and I'm looking forward to it -  Rams . It's an Icelandic tale but it sounds very Irish. About two bachelor brothers who are sheep farmers and haven't spoken for 40 years - and then they have to. Cheese and wine afterwards too. Very civilised.

Today's offering - a drowned pussy willow, floating on the pond. Thanks to JDO for hosting TinyTuesday. Catch up tomorrow.
