I had hoped to have a third Norwich blip for today, but clearly that was a little over-ambitious.  So instead here is the jay currently living in the trees along my stream at home in Winchester.  It isn't really quite up to blip standard for birds (oh, you do take such enviably wonderful bird shots - yes, you know who you are :)) but jays are not easy to catch, especially if you don't have a bird table, so I was pleased to get this yesterday.

It's that wonderful flash of blue, isn't it? 

I shall try to capture him again before the leaves hide too much and while him and missus are still feeding their family
